What I actually think of you.
- Your ambition is not something I am waiting out. It is one of the first things I loved about you, and it has not dimmed once since.
- You have backed me in rooms where you had nothing to gain from it, and on days when I had not really earned it.
- There are things I have finished only because you were the one who told me I could. That is not a figure of speech.
- People bring you the hard problem, and you have usually seen the bottom of it before they have finished explaining it.
None of this is new. I have thought every line of it for years. The only new part is that it is written down now, where it will still be tomorrow.
